It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Frances Kochevar of Ely, Minnesota, born in Aurora, Minnesota, who passed away on July 13, 2023, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Anton J. and Mary Perushek, Sr. (Markovich); her siblings, Mary Pucel, Rose Pucel, Olga Slogar, Anton (Tony) and John Perushek; her half-brothers, Joe, Ed and Ludwig Mistek; and her son Thomas Kochevar.
She is survived by: her husband Frederick Kochevar; and her grandchildren, Bruce Kochevar (Mary), Lynn Perrey (Ed), Fred Kochevar and Brenda Erjavec. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and great-grandchildren.
