She was predeceased by: her parents, Dwight Walton and Mayme Walton (Wildman); her husband Preceding; her daughter Judy Volz; her grandsons, Dusty Volz and Michael Volz; her siblings, Norval, Willard "Bill", Floyd, Darrel Walton and Thelma Vaughn; and her niece Linda Staples.
She is survived by: her former husband James F. Volz; her sons, John Volz (Rita) of Elmore and James "Jim" Volz (Shelley) of Elmore; her grandchildren, Hannah Bressler (Austin) of Huntley and Travis Volz (Elise) of Frost; her great grandchildren, Myles, Reese Bressler, Jaydyn Volz, Grant and Carly Volz; and her stepgrandchildren, Brittany and Ethan Armstrong.
She made over 1000 quilts in her lifetime, of course giving several to each of her family members, but also donating many to the Ronald McDonald House.
