He was predeceased by: his parents, William and Alice Jansma (Van Dyke); his in-laws, William and Henrietta Hoksbergen; his sons, Warren and Darryl; his son-in-law Scott Wissink; his siblings, Tunis Jansma (Wilmyna), Gertrude DeBoer (James), Jane DeBoer (Peter) and Bart Jansma; and his siblings-in-law, Bonnie Hoksbergen and Marvin Hoksbergen.
He is survived by: his wife Harriet Hoksbergen; his daughters, Denice Dirks (Mike) of Luverne, MN and Sandra Wissink of Rock Rapids, IA; his daughters-in-law, Delinda Jansma of Ellsworth, MN and Colleen Jansma of Worthington, MN; his sons, Kevin Jansma (Kristin) of Rock Valley, IA and William D. Jansma (Michelle) of Ellsworth, MN; his grandchildren, Ryan and Alissa; his great grandchildren, Steve and Stan; his children, Amber, Grant and Joshua; his sister-in-law Berniece Barstad (Jansma) of Brandon, SD; and also, Kari, Jason, Wayne, Bradley, Ashley, Derrick, Hannah, Noah, Brielle, Mason, John Hoksbergen (Lori) of Sioux Center, IA, Henry Hoksbergen (Jane) of Hull, IA, Donald Hoksbergen (Wilma) of Hull, IA and Ken Hoksbergen (Dori) of Hull, IA. He is also survived by four brothers-in-law.
