He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick Sr. Doherty and Melva Doherty (Wagner); his brothers, Michael Doherty and Dennis Doherty; and his brother-in-law Bill Ostrom.
He is survived by: his wife Deanne; his sons, Casey (Leslie) of Mankato, MN, Ryan of Loretto, MN and Jason (Diana) of Princeton, MN; his grandsons, Graham, Leo, Dylan, Jack, Barrett and Rowan; his siblings, Kathleen McKenzie (Jerry) of Ida Grove, IA, Joanne Ostrom of Faribault, MN, John Doherty (Susan) of Scottsdale, AZ and Tracy Doherty (Lisa) of Lake Benton, MN; and also Geneva Doherty of Littleton, CO.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John Lutheran Church (13045 Fremont Ave, Zimmerman, MN 55398). A memorial service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
