She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Wessels and Gertrude Wessels (Heinrichs); her husband George Spieker; her son Randy Spieker; her brother Gene Wessels; and her sisters-in-law, Sonja Wessels and Sadie Wessels.
She is survived by: her daughter Gerilynn Arens (David) of Sioux Falls, SD; her grandchildren, Charity Arens Schrank (Mike) and Jon Arens; and her siblings, Diane Boltjes (Lonnie), Leslie Wessels (Little Falls), Ivan Wessels of East Moline, IL, Duane Wessels (Bingham Lake) and Larry Wessels (Redwood Falls). She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
