She was predeceased by: her parents, Okke Boomgaarden and Jane Boomgaarden (Rose); her husband Walter Hans Oehlerts; and her siblings, Jake, Benny, George, Okke Boomgaarden, Amanda Randolph and Mabel Troxel.

She is survived by: her daughter Sara Lease (Trevor) of Canton; and her grandchildren, Brock, Jesse, Tera, Amanda and Gwendolyne. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
