It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lena Wiertzema of Ellsworth, Minnesota, who passed away on July 1, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hilko DeBoer and Anna DeBoer; her husband Herman Wiertzema; her son Dave Wiertzema; and her siblings, Harm DeBoer, Fannie Mulder and Jennie Janssen.
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Jerre Wiertzema; her grandchildren, Brian Wiertzema (Mandy), Carolyn Krapfl (Jason) and Jill Wolf (Chris); and her great grandchildren, Olivia, Daniel, Emily Krapfl, Quentin, Anastasia, Caleb, Cyrus Wolf and Clara Wiertzema. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and in-laws.
The family is following the church's Covid-19 restrictions, therefore a lunch will not be served.
