She was predeceased by: her parents, George Kruger and Henrietta Kruger (Stubbe); her stepmother Sena Kruger; her siblings, John Kruger (Ardel), Viola Vos Kellen (Ralph Vos), Albertus Kruger (Grace) and Daryl Kruger (Caroline); and her stepsister Katherine Kruger.
She is survived by: her husband Sweer Arends; and her children, Sharon Arends of Ellsworth, MN, Marvella Klaahsen (Keith) of Sibley, IA, Glen Arends (Barb) of Lester, IA, Doug Arends of Sioux Falls, SD, Erwin Arends (Lori) of Little Rock, IA and Marlin Arends (Dawn Marie) of Onamia, MN. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; along with many nieces, nephews.
