She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Tews and Lydia Tews (Prieve); her husband Carl Hellwig; her brothers, Arnold Tews (Bea), Harold Tews, Eldor Tews and Marvin Tews (Cora); her brother-in-law Ellsworth Thies; and her nephew Joel Tews.
She is survived by: her children, Bruce Hellwig of Darwin, MN and Kathy Hellwig of Darwin, MN; and her sister Elaine Thies of Gaylord, MN. She is also survived by Many other relatives and friends.
