Elwin Amyx Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elwin Amyx of Ellsworth, Minnesota, born in Lubbock, Texas, who passed away on April 25, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Elwin may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Elwin touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Omer Amyx and Hazel Amyx (Muggleton); his wife Wanda Staehli; and his siblings, Barbara Lothe, Glen and Stanley Amyx.
He is survived by: his sons, Lee Amyx of Hager City, Lynn Amyx (Lisa) of Lodi, WI and Terry Amyx (Candy) of Bay City. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and two great-great granddaughters.
Memorials are preferred to St. John's Lutheran Church or Adoray Hospice.
