He is survived by: his children, Dennis Jr. (Kathy) of Red Wing, William (Cindy) of Red Wing, Jean Coonse (Dan) of Prineville, OR, Patrick (Darlene) of Ellsworth, Lori Christofferson (Curt) of Red Wing, Janice Hinz (Tim) of Red Wing and Joyce Maldonado (Anibal) of Red Wing; his daughter-in-law Janice Cordes of Bay City; and his siblings-in-law, Annette, Dianne Cordes and Mike Carlson (Beverly). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
