She was predeceased by: her parents, Weert Jr. Huisman and Gertrude Huisman (Russman); her brothers, Wayne (Iva), Emerson and Paul (Joy); and her niece Wanda Kooima.

She is survived by: her sister Lois M. Huisman of Ellsworth, MN; and her sister-in-law Ruth Huisman of Ellsworth, MN. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other extended family.
