It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Idella M. Nelson of Ellendale, Minnesota, born in Owatonna, Minnesota, who passed away on September 28, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Isaac Muri and Elna Muri (Nelson); her husband Roger Nelson; and her son-in-law Bill McKinstry. She is survived by: her children, Kay Northrop (Rich) of Chanhassen and Daryl Nelson (Debbie) of Blooming Prairie; her brother Duane Muri (Addie) of Rochester; her granddaughters, Kathy Wrede and Jennifer Servais; her stepgranddaughters, Tasha Northrop, Emily Dahl and Tessie Northrop; and her great grandchildren, Koda and Kade Servais.
Memorials are preferred to the Steele County Food Shelf.
