Leah (O'Neill) Paulsen Obituary

Leah O'Neill Paulsen, 76 of ElkoNewMarket, MN passed away on 03/01/2022. Preceded in death by husband Jerry Paulsen, parents Francis and Dorothy O’Neill, sister and brother-in-law Lani and Jim Hale, nephew Aaron Erickson, and Macaw Vinnie. Survived by son Craig Paulsen, daughter Dawn Paulsen, sister Peggy O’Neill, dog Mac, birds Lacotah, Hawkeye, Oscar, Baby, Kia, Kirby, Shaka, several cockatiels, grandbird Sparki, other relatives, and many friends. Leah was a lover of all animals, but birds were her passion. She was active in many bird clubs and worked at Love on the Wing in ElkoNewMarket for many years. She was the ultimate Mama Bird. Leah grew up in Pipestone, MN and was active on many of the Pipestone sites. She was very loved and will be missed. Graveside service for family and friends 03/11/2022 at 12 noon St. Martin’s cemetery Woodstock, MN.
