He is survived by: his children, Barbara Swenson (Todd) of Newfolden, MN and James Ness (Rhonda Skadsem) of Holt, MN; his grandchildren, Melody Conway (Kory) of Newfolden, Beka Winter of Newfolden, Ian Winter (Gretchen) of Newfolden, Alex Ness of West Bend, WI, James Ness II of Grand Forks, ND, Elissa, Mindy, Sheena and Ashley; his great grandchildren, Logan, Lydia and Baby Conway; his significant other Ginger Kranitz; and his siblings, Richard Silverness (Kris), Glenn Silverness, George Silverness (Donna) and Marie Jacobs (Dale). He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
