He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Fred Sweeney and Edith Sweeney; his wife Shirley (Zaske); his daughters, Stacy Sweeney, Shannon Jung (Randy) and Tina Moe (Derek); his grandchildren, Tyler Dehn, Kelsey Ciatti (Spencer), Haley Jung, Maggie Wolf (Logan), Charlie and Sam Moe; his great grandchildren, Grayson, Colton Ciatti and Paisley Wolf; and his sister Kathleen Bendickson.
