It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katherine Bertha Tranby (Elk River, Minnesota), who passed away on March 29, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Umland and Mildred Umland; her sister Darlene; and her brother-in-law Clair Weidt. She is survived by: her husband David Tranby; her daughters, Marilyn Milless (Vicki) and Vicki Mayer (Jason); her grandchildren, Allie, Megan, Mitchell and Jack; and her siblings, Shirley Kill (Butch), Norma Raatikka (Roni) and John Umland (Julie).
