It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gene Raymond Martie of Elk River, Minnesota, born in Monticello, Minnesota, who passed away on May 23, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Martie and Dorothy Martie (Dyson); his brother Dick Martie; and his sister-in-law Sharon Martie. He is survived by: his wife Pat; his sons, Deron (Christine) and Dean (Stacy Rogness); his grandchildren, Aaron, Blake, Dylan Martie, Kelsey Tormanen (Beau Bailey), Cadence and Jaelynn Martie; his brother Russ Martie; and his siblings-in-law, Sally Martie, Terry and Mark Munich (Kathy). He is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren.
