He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Meyer and Dorothy Meyer (Williams); his wife Colette Deans; his sons, Steve Coy and Chris Coy; his brothers, Robert and Duane; his siblings-in-law, Donna Meyer and Allen Benson; and his niece Jennifer Meyer.
He is survived by: his children, Gary "Goob" Coy (Stacy), Brad Meyer (Dawn) and Sarina Rogers (Steve Perez); his grandchildren, Seth Coy (Hailey), Sawyer Coy, Carinna Nikunen (Austin), Andrew Coy (Ashlee), Hayden Meyer, Mason Meyer, Raini Rogers, River Bonneville and Raiven Perez; his great grandchildren, Praxton, Kohen, Genevieve, Liam, Lena and Ryker; and his siblings, Rodney Meyer (Patty), Harley Meyer (Patty), Jim Meyer (Ginni), David Meyer, Mike Meyer (Sheila) and Barb Benson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Elk River American Legion Hall (525 Railroad Dr, Elk River, MN 55330).
