She was predeceased by: her mother Gladyne Michels; her stepmother Dorothy Michels; her father Douglas Michels; and her father-in-law Vernon Flaten. She is survived by: her husband Gary Flaten; her children, Kirsten Tangen (Michael), Erik Flaten (Bre) and Randy Flaten; her grandchildren, Erianna, Brik, Bas, Aurora and Bjorn; and her sisters, Holly Henderson and Laurie Gunstrom. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
