He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Brown and Alice Brown (Lawyer); and his stepmother Inga Brown. He is survived by: his spouse Sandy Bergstrom; his sons, Steve and Donny; his grandchildren, Randy, Meghan, Spencer, Emily, Matt, Noah, Mady, Ryan, Isaac, Matthew, Jenna, John and Grady; and his brother Duane. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Elk River Baptist Church (1800 8th St NW, Elk River, MN 55330). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Darrel's name are preferred to Triniti Hospice in Elk River, MN.
