He was predeceased by: his parents, Carroll Carlson and Beverly Carlson (Etzen); his brother Dennis Carlson; and his brother-in-law Joseph Mueller. He is survived by: his child Dale; his wife Anne Knutson; his children, Megan Stevens (Andrew), Molly Fischer (Alex) and Max Carlson; his grandchildren, Isabel Stevens, Weston and Carter Fischer; his siblings, Debra Mueller, Dean Carlson (Debbie) and Doris Young (Randy); his sisters-in-law, Lisa Baloun (Mark), Tammy Waalk (Jim) and Joy Keopple (Aaron); and his pet Henry. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, other relatives, friends.
