He was predeceased by: his wife Phyllis Fretty; and his parents, Gottlieb Maier and Bertha Maier. He is survived by: his sister Luella Miller of Bismarck; and his nieces and nephews, Wendy, Joel Larkin, Jordan (Ashley), Henry, Jennifer, Dan Johnson, Brandon and Alison Maier.
In lieu of cards and flowers, memorials to the Parkinson's Foundation or MS Society would be appreciated by the family.
