He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin and Ottilia; his siblings, Agnes, Evelyn and Frank; his stepson Rob; and his granddaughter Heather Ann.

He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth; his children, Gayle (Mike) and Matthew (Sandy); and his stepchildren, Jerry (Mary), Connie (Ivan), Randy, CanDee (Jim) and Jan (Alan). He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
