It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clarence Rutten (Elizabeth, Minnesota), who passed away on February 23, 2018, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Clarence Rutten to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Charlie (Marie), Albert, Lester and Rosella Boogaard (John); and his brothers-in-law, John Boogaard (Rosella) and Bill Boogaard (Evelyn).
He is survived by: his sisters, Evelyn Boogaard (Bill) and Katherine Hotvedt (Merlyn). He is also survived by 11 children and their spouses: Cecile (Jerome) Guck, Paul (Vickie), John (Cheryl), Albert (Lois), Mary (John) Peeters, Mark (Susan), Ann (Kevin) Commers, Chris (Peggy), Louis (Dana), Matthew (Angie) and Luke (Amy); 39 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and countless friends.
In lieu of flowers and cards the Rutten family kindly asks that you make a donation to those less fortunate: your local food shelf and homeless shelter, as examples.
