He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Rott and Marie Rott (Meyer); his daughter Nikki; his parents-in-law, Casper and Violet Eggler; his sister Mary Schumacher; his brother-in-law Ron Fahrenz; and his great-nephew Ross Grobe.
He is survived by: his wife Joy Rott of Elgin; his child Kim DeFrang (Kris); his grandchildren, Chase, Reed of Plainview and Kindra Carlson (Chad); his great grandchildren, Cael, Caden and Conlan of Pennock, MN; his grandson Bruce Rott (Melissa); his great grandchildren, Isaac, Lauren and Anna of Elgin; his stepmother-in-law Elaine Eggler of Stewartville; his sisters, Paula Steinbronn (Bill) of Owatonna, Betty Fahrenz of Plainview and June Schreiber (Carl) of Plainview; and his brother-in-law Kenny Schumacher of Elgin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
