He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Jech and Elsie Jech (Boehm); his wife Rosella O'Connell; and his siblings, Robert, Albert, Kenny, Edna, Lillian and Mildred.

He is survived by: his son Dale Jech (Kim) of Elgin; his grandsons, Matthew and Mitchell Jech; his children, Ron Jech (Dina) of Texas, Gary Jech (Karen) of Elgin, Dean Jech, Dawn Jech and Steve Jech (Shelly) of Elgin; and his siblings, Loren Jech and Leona "Beezie" Jech (Cambern). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Seasons Hospice in the Jech Family Name.
