She was predeceased by: her parents, Mabel Halvorson (Haugen) and Albert O. Halvorson; her husband Bob Swenson; her siblings, Harlan, Marcus Halvorson (Barb) and Ann Louise Rud (Clint); and her sisters-in-law, Altha Leraas (Gordon), Norma Johnson (Roy), Gladiva Andersen (Harry) and Ruth Brenden (Reuben).
She is survived by: her children, Barbara of Maple Grove, MN and Charles (Sonja) of Lake Benton, MN; her grandsons, Andrew Swenson (Erin) and Ben Swenson (Andrea); her son David (Cheryl) of Arden Hills, MN; her grandchildren, Tamara Kampfe (Kevin), Todd Swenson (Jenna) and Tyler Swenson (Sara); and her sons, Scott (Michelle) of Elbow Lake, MN and Christian Swenson. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
The two remaining classmates planned to celebrate their 80th ELHS Class Reunion this past summer, however they were forced to cancel due to Covid.
