Lorraine Tyberg Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lorraine Tyberg of Elbow Lake, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 18, 2024 at the age of 93. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lorraine Tyberg to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Jacobson and Esther Jacobson (Balgaard); her husband Howard; her son Gary; her siblings, Richard Jacobson and Doris Pattison; and her siblings-in-law, Lynn Jacobson, Mildred Tyberg, Zona Jacobson, Leonard Niemi and Sheldon Tyberg.
She is survived by: her daughter Beth Ann Funkhouser (Deryk); her daughter-in-law Jade Tyberg; her grandchildren, Amber Decker (Hans), Sara Funkhouser, Jamie, Jasmine and Joshua Tyberg; her stepgrandson Sean Eason; her great grandchild Annika Decker; her siblings, Arlene Niemi, Carolyn Geir (Duane), Dale Jacobson and Harvey Jacobson; and her siblings-in-law, Orvis Pattison and Barbara Jacobson.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Lutheran Church (912 Lake Ave, Detroit Lakes, MN 56501). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Lorraine's honor may be made directly to Hospice of Red River Valley or First Lutheran Church of Detroit Lakes.
