He was predeceased by: his parents, Olaf Odegaard and Josephine Odegaard (Elliott); his wife Joanne Lesto; and his siblings, Edward, Gilbert, Leonard Odegaard and Adell Frovarp.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jill Odegaard of Ramsey and Jana Odegaard (Randy Schmidt) of Fargo; his grandson Adam Vogel-Odegaard of Dalton; his sisters, Ann Nolte of Moorhead, Darlene Langlie of Blaine, Mary Moebius of Ashby and Sandra Odegaard of Fergus Falls; and his sisters-in-law, Sharon Odegaard and Joyce Odegaard. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, many friends.
