He was predeceased by: his grandmother Hayer; his father William Ethan; and his siblings, Ruby, Howard, Bill, Margaret, Alva, Richard, Laurence and Mildred.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Klaahsen; his stepchildren, Sheila, Larry, Emily (Jason), David and Kayla (Nick); his stepgrandchildren, Katie and Zachary; his brother Arnold; his great grandchildren, Griffin, Braxdon, Brogan, Tobin and Elsie; and also, Courtney and Samantha. He is also survived by three children.
