He was predeceased by: his son Scott Raymond Dibley; and his son-in-law Nick Duerkop. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Ann Dibley (Waldron) of Eitzen; his children, Jim Dibley (Dawn) of Rosemount, Minnesota, Sue Duerkop (Jason Thompson) of Ettrick, Wisconsin and Joan Wiese (Kelly) of Chaska, Minnesota; and his grandchildren, Brandon Olson (Becca) of Houston Minnesota, Adam Olson (Ashley) of Houston Minnesota, Megann Skorstad (Travis) of Caledonia, Josh Dibley of Minneapolis, Anna Dibley of Minneapolis, Courtney Peterson (John) of Lewiston, Minnesota, Ryan Dibley (Kaylynn) of Tucson, Arizona and Rory Dibley (Tana) of LaCrescent, Minnesota. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Caledonia United Methodist Church. A memorial service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Memorials may be made to the Portland Prairie Cemetery Association or to support the heroic volunteer first responders of Eitzen Minnesota.
