She was predeceased by: her parents, Martha Olivier (Schoolmeester) and William Olivier; her husband Bert Schelhaas; and her sister Judy. She is survived by: her children, Juanita (Jay) of Primghar Iowa, Ardeth (Dean) of Edgerton Minnesota, Bud of Edgerton Minnesota and Drew (Nancy); her grandchildren, Josalynn Agnew (Bob), Jamin Anliker (Jeana), Shaun Fransen (Carrie), Bret Fransen (Lindsay), Erika Kellenberger (Adam), Jack Schelhaas and Bennett Schelhaas; and her brother Del Olivier (Jane) of Sioux City, Iowa.. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.

After struggling with the affects of Alzheimer's disease, she is now at peace, embraced in the arms of Jesus.
