He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon and Evelyn (Rice); and his brothers-in-law, Wayne Brouwer and Stan Scholten. He is survived by: his wife Elaine Brouwer; his sons, Kristopher, Wade (Katherine) of Fremont, Neb. and Seth (Sara) of Spearfish, S. D.; his siblings-in-law, Darlene Ruiter (John), Larry Brouwer (Sandy) and Thelma Scholten; and his grandchildren, Jason Ulmer, James Ulmer, Jordan Ulmer, Olivia Ulmer and Elena Ulmer.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the First Reformed Church (150 Center St S, Edgerton, MN 56128). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
