She was predeceased by: her parents, John Schuld and Lydia Schuld (Vos); her husband William Smith (Bill); her siblings, Fred Schuld, Gladys Zwart, Nick Schuld, Robert Schuld, Cornelia Menning and Arma Belle Stoel; her daughters, Bonnie Johannsen and Shirlee Haraldson; and her grandson Nathan Stegenga.
She is survived by: her children, Randolf Smith, Linda Feikema (John), Sue Stegenga (Arlan) and Lanette Szymkowicz (Scott); her sons-in-law, Jim Johannsen and Kevin Haraldson; and her siblings, Virg Schuld, Elaine Ressmeyer and Mini Gale Achterhof. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
