He was predeceased by: his parents, Dick Bleyenburg and Cora Bleyenburg of Edgerton, MN.; his siblings, Gladys Mae, Gladys Gertrude, Esther and Bernie; his parents-in-law, Bill and Arlene Van Dyke; and his brother-in-law Ed Hulstein.

He is survived by: his wife Lila Bleyenburg; his children, Sandra Gunnink (Loren) of Leota and Loren Bleyenburg (Jill) of Edgerton; his siblings, Art Bleyenburg (Rose) of Edgerton, Arlene Hulstein of Edgerton, Henry Bleyenburg (Judy) of Crete, IL, Claris Bleyenburg (Colleen) of Dade City, FL, Janice Lanting (Jim) of Dyer, IN and Dennis Bleyenburg (Aud) of Edgerton; his sister-in-law Peggy Bleyenburg of Chino, CA; his grandchildren, Brandon Gunnink (Becca), Jordan Gunnink (Courtney), Trent Bleyenburg and Micah Bleyenburg; his great grandchildren, Greyson Dowling, Jaxston Gunnink, Jensen Gunnink and Raeleigh Gunnink; and his siblings-in-law, Norm, Glenda Van Dyke, Ron and Mary Van Dyke. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
