He was predeceased by: his parents, Simon Sas and Anna Sas (Schaap); his wife Ruth Vander Wilt; his daughter Patricia; his son-in-law Earl Schuld; his grandchildren, Kayln, Vaughn Schuld and Jarrod Van Stelten; and his sisters, Hildred Blom and Ruth McKenzie.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Nancy, Rod and Mark; and his great grandchildren, Nancy Van Stelten (Dave), Corey (Renae), Lauren, Jase, Kyli, Daniel (Heather), Charlie, Cheyenne, Keznie (Toni), Emily and Allison.
