It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joanne Talsma (Edgerton, Minnesota), who passed away on November 6, 2019, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arie Vis and Jennie Vis (Vos); her parents-in-law, Albert and Ada Talsma; and her brothers-in-law, Bern Walhof, Jerry Gerdes and Jim Vredeveld.
She is survived by: her husband John; her siblings, Marge Prins (John) of Modesto, CA, Verla Mulder (Duane) of Renville, MN, Garvin Vis (Bonnie), Orville Vis (Judy) of Leota, MN, Glady Mesman (Les) of Sioux Falls, SD, Diane Spronk (Harlan), Arla Bouma (Tom) of Edgerton, MN and Dennis Vis (Lonna) of Leota, MN; and her siblings-in-law, Leroy Talsma (Wanda), David Talsma (Grace), Janice Powell (Dan) of Sparta, MI and Irene Hoekman (Martin). She is also survived by four children, and ten grandchildren.
