He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy and Bernice; his brothers, Jerry and Larry; his niece Leslie Weidenbacher; his nephew Brian Van Nieuwenhuyzen; his parents-in-law, David and Elizabeth Oldemeyer; his sister-in-law Nancy Oldemeyer; and his great grandchild Charles John Rodewald (CJ).
He is survived by: his wife Sara Oldemeyer of Edgerton; his grandchildren, Jason, Evan Bolt, Jake Heard, Kori Rodewald, Alex, Isaac (Alecia) and Madison Heard; his great grandchildren, AJ, Jett and Noah; his siblings, Mary Vander Top (Gary), Nancy Janssen (Randy) and Dan Heard (Connie); his sister-in-law Kathy Heard; his parents-in-law, John Oldemeyer (Judy), Deb Axelson (Rick) and Rae Vermeal (Randi); and his pet Harley. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and aunts and uncles.
