With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ellen Marie Wynia of Edgerton, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 21, 2024 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Evert Krosschell and Eva Krosschell (VandeVoort); her husband Earl G. Wynia; her grandsons, Lloyd and Nathan Wynia; her great grandchild Jonah Van Wyk; her siblings, Peter, Evert (Phyllis), Jack Krosschell, Hattie Donker (Art), Jenny Olthof (John), Berdina Van Ginkle (Pete), Agnes Ruiter (Heine) and Bernice (Harold); and also Evert.
She is survived by: her children, Erwin Wynia (Linda) of Sheldon, IA, Myron Wynia of Forest Lake, MN, Donna Van Wyk (Dennis) of New Sharon, IA and Steven Wynia (Lora) of Luverne, MN; her sister Madeline Sharkey; and her sisters-in-law, Alice Krosschell, Clarice Krosschell and Donna. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren.
