She was predeceased by: her parents, William Kleyer and Henrietta Kleyer (VanderVoort); her husband William Schaap; her sisters, Hattie Tinklenberg and Bertha De Grote; her granddaughter Dee Dee; and her stepgrandchildren, Emily, Lori and Brian. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 7 step-grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
