She was predeceased by: her parents, John Schoolmeester and Henrietta Schoolmeester (Achterhoff); her husband Richard Beckering; her grandson Ryan Beckering; and her siblings, Clarence Schoolmeester and Grace Landhuis.
She is survived by: her children, Marilyn Folkerts (Doug) of Edgerton, Marlene LaVigne (Mike) of Moose Lake, Donna Kuipers (Warren) of Mesa, Lelin Beckering (Jana) of Garvin and Barbara Van Eck (Mark) of Hendricks, Minnesota; and her brother Jerold Schoolmeester (Sophie) of Edgerton. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.
