He is survived by: his wife Bertie of Eden Valley; his children, Edward (Mary) of Watkins, James (Alice Coe) of Watkins, Rosie Hennen (Randy) of St. Nicholas, Betty Mae Weinmann of Stanchfield, Doreen Johnson of Eden Valley, Rita Hennen (Eric) of Eden Valley and Gerhard, Jr. of Sartell; and his sister Alice Schmitz of Willmar. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
