He was predeceased by: his wife Louise Goplen; and his siblings, Phil (Elsie Goplen), Ruby (Les Johnson), Edith Goplen and Sherman Goplen.
He is survived by: his children, Paul Goplen (Sherry), Christine Huband (Neil) and Sara Long (Norman); his grandchildren, Michael Goplen (Katie), Melissa Swagger (Kaleb), Sally Huband (Duncan McWhannell), Jessica Huband-Clarke (James), Jonathan Huband and Andrew Ralston (Alana); his brothers, Frank Goplen and Arlyn Goplen; and his sister-in-law Ethel Goplen. He is also survived by many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
