He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Walter Ackerman and Gladys Ackerman (Lewis); his wife Sharon Boeckman Ackerman; his stepchildren, Mark Boeckman (Stacie), Marty Boeckman (Anne), Chris Boeckman (Kandi) and Kurt Boeckman (Shari); his siblings, Burt Ackerman (Violet), Mike Ackerman (Jennifer) and Cathy Swanson; and his sisters-in-law, Melinda Ackerman and Janet Krautkremer. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
