With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wanda L. Sandbeck (East Grand Forks, Minnesota), who passed away on March 20, 2025 at the age of 86. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Cariveau and Myrtle Cariveau (Bakken); her husband Kenneth Sandbeck; her son-in-law William Baumgartner; her siblings, Duane Cariveau, Charles Cariveau (Carol), Galen Cariveau and Patricia Iverson; and her siblings-in-law, Denise Cariveau, Margaret Cariveau, Harold Sandbeck, Wilda Larson and Laurrine Guttu.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Anderson (David), Patricia Novacek (Ronald), Debbie Brodeur (John), Tami Baumgartner, James Sandbeck (Kristi) and Gayle Moe (Chris); her pet Carter; her brothers, Gary Cariveau (Sheryl), Daniel Cariveau and Steven Cariveau (Sue); and her siblings-in-law, Gail Cariveau, Jollen Cariveau and Arnie Iverson. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (200 3rd St NW, East Grand Forks, MN 56721). A memorial service was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
