She was predeceased by: her parents, Alton Ellis and Theresa Ellis (Allard); her brother Bryan Ellis; and her brother-in-law Steve Holmes. She is survived by: her former husband Leland Fosness; her husband Conrad "Billy" Swearson; her children, Cameron Jacobson (Scott) of Grand Forks, ND, Denver Fosness (Jessica) of Towner, ND and LeRae Bachmeier (Joe); her siblings, Joni Wolf (Ronald) of Kindred, ND, Kerry Ellis of Minot, ND, Deanna Miller (Ray) of Sawyer, ND, Shelly Holmes of Parshall, ND and Ronald Ellis of Bottineau, ND; and her grandchildren, Tucker, Melanie Fosness of Towner, ND, Cayden, Denver Jacobson of Grand Forks, ND, Kinley, Brennan and Ellery Bachmeier. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
