It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Reuben Kleven of East Grand Forks, Minnesota, born in Oak Park, Minnesota, who passed away on June 6, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ole Kleven and Della Kleven (Bjornstad); his siblings-in-law, Menford and Ida Hendrickson; his siblings, Bloyd (Connie), Alpha Kleven and Rudy Kleven (June); and his brother-in-law Mark Lizakowski.
He is survived by: his wife Marlys Hendrickson; his sons, Duane Kleven (Becky) of Mayville, ND, Robert (Debbie) of Alvarado and Byron (Judith) of Mayville; his grandchildren, Jonathan Kleven (Heather), Ashley Folarin, Kirsten, Katie, Hailey, Samantha, Alexander, Samuel and Zachary Kleven; and his great grandchildren, Caleb, Sophia Folarin and Amelia Kleven. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
In Lieu of Flowers, memorials are preferred to the Kongsvinger Lutheran Church, c/o the Tree Fund: a cause close to Reuben's heart.
