He is survived by: his wife Roberta Messelt; his sons, Mick Messelt (Sherry) of Lengby, MN, Danny Messelt (Jennifer) and Tyler Messelt (Holly); his grandchildren, Mackenzie, Leah, Ella, Gage and Jadyn Messelt; and his siblings, Paul Messelt of Fargo, John Messelt (LaVerne) of Sun City, AZ, Lennie Slocumb (Ken) of State College, PA, Mark Messelt (Patty) of Moorhead, MN. and Brian Messelt of Moorhead, MN..
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Our Savior's Lutheran Church (1515 5th Ave NW, East Grand Forks, MN 56721). A memorial service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
