It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ordean H. Thompson of East Grand Forks, Minnesota, born in Grand Forks, North Dakota, who passed away on December 6, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Thompson and Marie Thompson (Peterson); his sister Marlene Nelson of Roseau, MN; his brother-in-law Wayne Nelson; and his mother-in-law Geraldine Shol.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Thompson of Savior's Lutheran Church; his sons, David Thompson (Jill) and Kevin Thompson; and his grandchildren, Neil, Kyle, Kayla and Jadyn Thompson. He is also survived by four nieces.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Our Savior's Lutheran Church, East Grand Forks, MN or to the donors choice.
